New Years Eve in New York City!

The Daybreak Stake is hosting the
New Years Eve Youth Dance!
Monday Dec. 31st 9:30 - 12:30am 14 to 18 yr olds
Sunday dress attire
We are going to transform the cultural hall into

Times Square in New York City!

We are making plans to have New York skylines cut out of cardboard and lit with Christmas lights, White Christmas lights strung across the ceiling, a fun D.J. to play music for the youth.
The Relief Society Room will be transformed into Coney Island and we will have
fun "minute to win it" games for the youth to participate in!
A fun addition to the dance will be a PHOTO BOOTH for the kids to have their pictures taken with a green screen background! We will email the youth their fun "New York City" pictures!
At the "Construction Zone cafe" we will be serving Pizza, Hot Dogs, Nachos,
Veggies and cookies for all to enjoy!

There will be lots of other fun things at this New Years Eve dance....a disco ball drop at midnight, a graffiti wall for everyone to sign their name, confetti and

video of fireworks!

Spread the word to your ward leaders to tell their youth all about this fun dance!

We will be updating as we get closer!

Looking forward to a really fun activity that brings the youth together In a fun safe and wholesome way!

From For the Strength of Youth Pamphlet under "Friends"

As you strive to live the gospel, you will encourage your friends to do likewise. Set an example of keeping the commandments, participating in Church activities, preparing to serve the Lord throughout your life, and remaining worthy to attend the temple.

Invite your friends of other faiths to your Church meetings and activities. Help them feel welcome and included. Many people have joined the Church through the example and fellowship of their friends. Also make a special effort to reach out to new converts and to those who are less active.
